Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist Aftermath, a new addition to Splinter Cell novels

It seems like our middle-aged hero will not retire yet as there is a new upcoming novel written by Peter Telep that will be added to the Splinter Cell series. The book will pick up the story following the events in the latest video game in Splinter Cell franchise, Blacklist.  I'm glad that there will be another Sam Fisher novel for me to read.

If I am not mistaken this will be the first book that is based on the video game as originally it is the video games that are actually based on the novels. Here is one more solid reason to play and complete Splinter Cell: Blacklist people as it will surely get us more involved in the story of the book as well! The wait for Splinter Cell: Blacklist is almost over as the game will be released worldwide on August 23. Let the countdown commence!

Here is the synopsis of the book which sounds exhilarating:

Sam Fisher must save one man’s life to save his own country.

Eccentric billionaire Igor Kasperov owns one of the most influential and successful anti-virus software companies in the world. But when the Kremlin orders him to unleash a catastrophic computer virus against the United States, he is forced to flee for his life.

Sam Fisher and Fourth Echelon are charged with finding Kasperov and presenting the American president’s offer for political asylum. Because there are others looking for Kasperov. And the only thing they will offer him is a swift death…
