Hearthstone Curse of Naxxramas Leaks

I've got some pretty interesting news for you Hearthstone fans. Actually the bearer of this news is not me but a user on Reddit who posted Curse of Naxxramas pictures that show the new cards and boss abilities. After seeing these pictures I am even more overwhelmed by excitement and anticipation with a hint of impatience. Just release the bloody thing already right!!!

Don't forget that there is no way for me to vouch for the authenticity of these pictures so they could be fake; however, they seem pretty legit to me so why don't you check them out and decide for yourself.

Solo Adventures button replaces the Practice Mode button. Practice Mode will be accessed through Solo Adventures Mode.

If this is indeed how the 4 Horsemen encounter is going to be then I am not going to hide my disappointment. I always imagined this encounter to be 4 enemy heroes at the same time with 30 health (120 health in total). But Sir Zeliek's immunity buff looks quite interesting. That would be a great minion against Miracle Rogues or Zoo Warlocks or any sort of rush decks. But this card will not be available to players as we will be earning Baron Rivendare as a legendary card for beating the 4 Horsemen. Doomsayer can prove invaluable for this one. It's a shame I don't have one.

So it seems like we will have enrage timers in Curse of Naxxramas. 3 Damage to enemy hero for only 2 mana is quite a lot so if you stall the game too long Loatheb will most likely crush you....This will definitely be a rush/aggro game where we will need to beat Loatheb as soon as possible. I also wonder if he will have spells that will stop players from using any sort of healing spells.

I can't fully see the picture of the boss here but seeing his passive hero ability this could very well be the first boss in Plague Wing, Noth the Plaguebringer. He summons tons of skeletons in Naxxramas so it is safe to assume that this picture depicts Noth. If Noth has cards to buff these skeletons or to summon minions that will benefit from other minions dying (cough* cough* deathrattle, so obviously yes) this could or better yet WILL get out of hand!

Wow just wow! Behold it is the Kel'Thuzad legendary card! If these pictures are real it looks like this will be the card we will earn by completing all the wings in Curse of Naxxramas and its special effect is amazing! But the best thing about this card is that it will take effect immediately at the end of your turn so as well as being very vulnerable to silence/sheep/hex, you will still be able to make use of its effect at least once. I can't 100% clearly see the text but it says something like "At the end of your turn summon all friendly minions that died this turn". So when you play Kel'Thuzad and have some minions on your board, you can easily sacrifice them only to bring them back again at the end of your turn. This will put a lot of pressure on the opponent and it's a great card mechanic.

Another picture for the 4 Horsemen Encounter. Their hero power costs 5 mana, that is quite a lot so I can't wait to see what it actually does but I'm sure we will NOT like it at all! :D

See the heroic mode there? That definitely means that we will be up against bosses with much better cards and upgraded hero powers. Heroic mode will also be the way we earn the golden versions of the cards that Curse of Naxxramas has on offer. Also in order to unlock Class Challenges we will need to beat the normal mode first.

Thaddius is my most ever favourite boss in Naxxramas, and it seems like we will get to summon our very own Thaddius himself. But it will prove to be a very difficult challenge and maybe a bit too impossible as Feugen and Stalagg can easily be silenced/sheeped/hexed. But the concept of these two is quite unique and I love the idea behind it! Looking at the stats of these cards their value is incredibly high. 4/7 or 7/4 minion for 5 mana is great in value! But look at it this way. What if you played Feugen and then your opponent played Stalagg? These minions can be traded with each other and it doesn't say anything about a friendly minion dying or something. So the player who summoned the minion first and traded it with the opponent's minion gets to summon Thaddius? As people play Curse of Naxxramas these cards will find spots among constructed decks so my question remains important. And most likely the answer to my question is yes so we will hear some pretty interesting stories about this setup.

I always knew Patchwerk encounter might be one of the most difficult ones. Take a look at that bloody weapon will you? 5/7 that also has a deathrattle effect!!Acidic Swamp Ooze is a must for this encounter! Though now that I think of it I don't believe Blizzard would make it too easy for players to destroy Patchwerk like that so while we don't know what the deathrattle does I'm pretty sure that it will summon a maybe more powerful weapon or resurrect his old one. I already predicted that this fight would require a lot of cheap Taunt minions just to stop him from killing you in 8 turns. Defender of Argus with a rush build will prove valuable for this fight. I should also note that Patchwerk doesn't have any cards so this will be very interesting. Patchwerk is among the bosses that I'm most looking forward to so I really can't wait for this one!

Gothik is so lucky not to have a penalty for his card drawal hero power. What I wouldn't give to have this for my Warlock :D

Could this hint at a class challenge? We already know that we can only have 2 of the same card in our constructed decks with the exception of Legendary cards which we can only have 1. This picture shows 3 Webspinner, a Hunter card that has just been revealed a couple of days ago. So this can clearly be the Hunter challenge. Good luck Hunters! :D This also begs the question, do we receive these new class cards for the challenge before we actually earn them? This picture proves that we do.

I would like to note again that I don't own the copyrights of these pictures. These pictures were posted on imgur by a Reddit user. I also can't tell you whether these pictures are legit or fake but again they don't seem fake to me.

These leaks suggest that Blizzard might announce their pricing information alongside the release date for Curse of Naxxramas very soon. The introduction of class cards has been completed so we only need to know when the damn thing is going to be released and how much will the wings cost. We might very well be quite close to receiving the answers to these questions.
